The farmers market achieves two of SustainFloyd’s primary objectives which are to help develop a local food system and to encourage local entrepreneurship. Located in the Floyd Community Market, the farmers market is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May to December. Featuring locally grown produce and goods, the farmers market connects consumers directly with our growers, which benefits both our local agricultural economy and our community’s health. In order to provide local food for the whole community, we also have an EBT (food stamp) machine at the market and double-value coupons where the consumer receives a double amount in value of fresh market goods.

What You Can Find at the Farmers Market (All Local!):

  • Fresh Produce
  • Meat & Poultry
  • Cheese & Herbs
